One hundred and ninety seven students gave us their feedback on the 2009 Aboriginal Power Cup.

The best thing about giving us feedback is that it helps us to keep improving the Aboriginal Power Cup. In 2008 lots of students told us they wanted a social event on the first night so we organised the Blue Light disco in 2009. Now you have told us you want a DJ instead of a band at the disco and we will organise that for 2010.

Seventy eight percent of you said you would take the Aboriginal Power Cup as a SACE unit if it was available and that will be possible from 2010 onwards.
Another important part of the survey is that it lets us know the positive things you get out of being involved in the Aboriginal Power Cup. We want to make sure it's teaching you things that will help you make good life choices in the future.

Here's what you told us about what you got out of being involved in the 2009 competition. Learning new skills was the thing most of you (77%) said you enjoyed about the Aboriginal Power Cup. This was closely followed by playing football at Alberton Oval (75%). It was very encouraging to see that finishing year 12 was the thing most people (78%) said the Aboriginal Power Cup would encourage them to do. This was also the top answer in 2008.
Seventy two percent of you told us that feeling more positive was the way in which the Aboriginal Power Cup helped you to improve your health and wellbeing and 89% of you said you would like to participate in the competition again.

We're always keen to know what you think about the Aboriginal Power Cup so make sure you complete the survey again in 2010.
