About Salisbury High School
Salisbury High School is situated in the northern metropolitan area about 22 kilometres north of the city centre. Salisbury High School has approximately 1000 students, of which 90 students are Aboriginal.
Salisbury High is a Registered Training Organisation, delivers the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program and has a Special Education Unit on site.
The school operates under the values of Respect, Organisation, Relationships, Honesty and Success and their motto is Always Aspire and Pathways to Success. Salisbury High School has a clear aim and that is to see students successfully placed in higher education, training, employment and community service.
Students study Integrated Learning - Power Cup and are meeting on a regular basis to complete tasks and to develop their football skills through regular training.
In 2010 there will be a Salisbury High School Boys team and a Girls team and it is their 1st year of involvement in the Power Cup.
Team Rules
- Attend all workshops
- Work as a team
- No swearing/fighting
- Listen to the coaches
- No running off at the carnival
- Attend all training sessions
- All participate in the warm-ups for the day
- Be on your best behaviour
- Not to get into trouble @ School. E.g. Suspended/Excluded
- Be organised for the Power Cup
- Be respectful of others within your team and other teams at the carnival
- Try your best on the day and support your teams (Win or Lose)
