About Para West Adult Campus
Para West Adult Campus is one of four Adult re-entry schools in South Australia which delivers quality curriculum to young adults for over 18 years. It is located in the Peachey Road cluster of schools in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.
The school has approximately 1300 enrolments, with many studying part time programs. Students need to be at least 16 years of age to enrol.
The school’s motto is: Expanding Your Horizons Through Learning.
There is a SAASTA program operating in this school that supports young Aboriginal people to complete their SACE. Students study Integrated Learning – Power Cup, Vocational Studies and Physical Education as part of their SAASTA program.
In 2010 there will be a Para West Boys team and it is the schools 3rdyear of involvement in the Power Cup.
In 2008 both the Boys team and the Girls team from Para West won the Grand Finals of the Power Cup - the only school to achieve that feat so far.
