About Murray Bridge High School

Murray Bridge High School has over 900 students, including nearly 90 Aboriginal students. The Year 8-12 school offers many programs including International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program, VET options and Trade School for the Future program. Ngarrindjeri is one of the languages taught in the school.

Murray Bridge High School’s motto is: ‘By Striving We Reach the Stars’ and their core values are excellence, respect and working together.

Murray Bridge is located on the Murray River and is approximately 80kms east of Adelaide. The population of Murray Bridge is around 17,000 and has the best of country and city living.

There is a SAASTA program operating in this school that supports young Aboriginal people to complete their SACE. Students study Integrated Learning – Power Cup and Certificate II in Community Recreation as part of their SAASTA program.

In 2010 there will be a Murray Bridge High Boys team and it is their first year of involvement in the Power Cup.

11. No mobile phones to be used in class - music can only be listened to if instructed
12. No foul language / offensive behaviour
