About Salisbury High School
Salisbury High School is situated in the northern metropolitan area about 22 kilometres north of the city centre. Salisbury High School has approximately 1000 students, of which 70 students are Aboriginal.
Salisbury High is a Registered Training Organisation, delivers the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program and has a Special Education Unit on site.
The school operates under the values of Respect, Organisation, Relationships, Honesty and Success and their motto is Always Aspire and Pathways to Success. Salisbury High School has a clear aim and that is to see students successfully placed in higher education, training, employment and community service.
There is a South Australian Aboriginal Sports Training Academy (SAASTA) academy at Salisbury High School where students study Integrated Learning – Power Cup and Certificate II in Sport & Recreation.
In 2011 the Salisbury Boys team won the Grand Final.
In 2012 there will be a Salisbury High School Boys team and a Girls team and it is their 3rd year of involvement in the Aboriginal Power Cup.
