Windsor Gardens Vocational College, which incorporates the Windsor Gardens Centre for Hearing Impaired, is one of the most dynamic learning centres in the State. We are a medium size secondary school with a very strong sense of community.

Students work in small Care Groups which meet daily and then once a week for a longer session. This means the teacher gets to know each student well, monitoring progress across all of their subjects, their involvement in college life generally as well as their general well-being.

Windsor Gardens offers a very diverse curriculum and has successfully developed students who know what they want in their future and how to go about achieving it. We approach education with the aim of motivating and inspiring young people to pursue actively their chosen education, training and employment pathways.

First, we support students to explore what they want in their future, then try it out and then do all the preparation that will lead them into their post-secondary school lives with success and purpose. Accordingly, we offer a range of vocational courses alongside academic courses all designed to ensure students develop practical, work-based understandings alongside the acquisition of new skills and knowledge.

Team Rules

1. If you cannot make training or you are going to be late let the coach know ASAP.
2. Attempt all school work and Power Cup Work booklet by set due dates.
3. Attend all Power Cup meetings, functions, trainings and workshops.
4. Be accountable for actions, doing the right things to ensure we as a team are seen in a positive light.
5. Players will always listen to instructions from the coaches and will conduct themselves properly in behaviour and language among themselves and towards other teams and coaches.
6. Back up and support team mates with positive voice and actions
7. The focus is on team work not the individual.
8. Keep actions and talk positive.
9. Players are expected to always try to do their best in each practice session and in each game: always striving to improve their skills.
10. Players will wear WGVC attire to Games
11. Players will come to practice and games fully prepared with the correct attire, equipment and attitude.
12. Do not say anything to members of an opposing team of the referees during a game.
13. Players are to abide by these rules and the rules set by the Power Cup Organisers.
14. Players will uphold college values throughout this entire experience.
