About Warriappendi School & Para Hills High School

Warriappendi School has 45 students, the majority being Aboriginal students. The Year 8-12 school offers many programs including Work Place Learning and VET options. Warriappendi School supports their students to develop a rich understanding of Being, Belonging and Becoming.

Warriappendi School is located at Marleston, slightly south west and near the city of Adelaide.

Para Hills High School is a year’s 8 – 12 school with over 550 enrolments. There are about 20 aboriginal students enrolled at Para Hills.

The Para Hills logo is: ‘ Respect, Responsibility and Rigour.

Para Hills High School is located 17 kilometres north of the city of Adelaide. It is situated on the foothills adjacent to the Parafield Airport.

In 2009, Para Hills High School was the most successful sports school in South Australia. The Howard Mutton Memorial Shield compares sports participation and success among South Australian government secondary schools and accounts for school size.

Students study Integrated Learning – Power Cup and are meeting on a regular basis to complete tasks together and to train together each fortnight.

In 2010 there will be a Warriappendi/Para Hills Boys team and a Girls team and it is their first year of involvement in the Power Cup.

  3. Communicating: Be positive with teammates.
  4. Playing: Play fair and show respect to officials and the opposition.

Footy fever hits Warriappendi

Over the last few weeks, footy fever has affected almost every student! During every break, our enclosed basketball court is full of students kicking goals and practicing deadly moves.
