Murray Bridge High School - Visit from Wade Thompson & Russell Ebert
This week we journeyed off to Murray Bridge to visit our first timers to the APC. Murray Bridge high school is only submitting a boy's team as there is a few shame girls that didn't want to play. Maybe next year girls!
Wade Thompson was accompanied by Russell Ebert once again. In this group there were only 6 boys in our discussion. Wade and Russell discussed the importance of goal setting and career pathways and these guys pretty much knew what they want to do when leaving school. Russell also talked about how living in a country town that the boys may need to leave and live in the city to fulfill their dreams.
Wade talked about how he had to leave his family and friends to fulfill his dream, and how hard it was to leave his mum who has supported him all this way, but he rings his mum every day to fill her in of his day. When the guys finished their discussions they ventured out to their school oval and the boys had a light kick and catch. We wish all the best of luck to the Murray Bridge boys for the APC weekend and most importantly have fun!
