Fremont Elizabeth City High & Kaurna Plains Schools - Kaurna Plains & Fremont-Elizabeth City High join together for Power Cup
Kaurna Plains and Fremont-Elizabeth City High have joined together this year for the Power Cup. Students from both schools meet every Tuesday for a team meeting and training session.
During team meetings students were involved in the process of selecting a coach, team mentors, team captains and the team song. The team meetings also gave the students an opportunity to ask questions and receive updates from coaches, teachers and mentors. After each team meeting, students would have a training session. At the training session coaches would work on the student's fitness and football skills.
Students, coaches and mentors feel by having the team meetings and training sessions it has helped the students prepare for the Power Cup.
All involved are also excited about the opportunity to represent both Kaurna Plains and Fremont-Elizabeth City High.
